RISE

The RISE Program is to enhance the interest, skills, and competitiveness of the undergraduate science students in biomedical research. The objective of RISE is to:

1. Increase enrollment and retention of students in the science disciplines, which are the RISE participating department.
2. Increase the number of students with on-campus research experience.
3. Increase the number of students with off campus summer research participation.
4. Increase the number of research presentations by students at professional meetings.
5. Increase the rate of successful admission to graduate programs and successful completion of the PhD program.
