Got STEM?

Got STEM? is a year-round affirmative recruiting initiative which targets undecided majors and introduces them to the excitement and benefits of careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Our approach to GOT STEM? includes traditional and new STEM experiences. Students are introduced to STEM thru:

Also, students have the opportunity to network and interact with scientists, mathematicians and engineers. Students are actively participating in a total of ten cooperative learning sessions that focus on physics, mathematical sciences, pre-engineering, environmental sciences, problem solving, computing and information technology, introduction to chemistry, forensic science, the discovery of mathematics, and selecting a STEM major. Incentives in the form of STEM points are awarded to participating recruits. These points are later redeemed for rewards such as educational supplies, books, software and calculators.
